Project Overview

Plexus Publishing, Inc. needed an update to their Boardwalk Empire book site. I worked on both original designs for their site prior to this project. The update had one major requirement: The new design must echo the book art without copying any of HBO’s graphics other than the logo. The book cover art is a mixture of textures and lighting. I fabricated these effects using photoshop patterns brushes, and layer effects. The actual website itself is built on a very customized WordPress theme.
